I am sure *this* message will strike A LOT of your audience as wrong and terrible and there will be pushback at the comparison and frankly, I no longer have fucks to give about it.
When you all keep writing these fucking pieces and I keep seeing the terms "biological males" and "biological men" and "biological boys"...to ME...and not a few other trans women I am sure, it comes across as if you were writing about race, and your text was filled with "nigger". Attributing it to racists and decrying all that lies behind it, while repeating the slur ad fucking nauseum. In this case, for us, some of you just uncritically using it your own fucking selves.
Julia Serano, a biologist, has written extensively on why it is inappropriate, inaccurate, and not scientific. So have others. She and others have made nice videos. Educate yourselves beyond fucking grade school.
It is straight out flatly a slur...and the harm it causes and initiates and spreads is real.
But you all keep saying it. You've been oppressing us with the ideas behind it for as long as patriarchy has been a thing...ie: since civilization. Yeah black folks...including yours.
This "biological sex" nigger is fucking sick of it.
There. There's a hot fucking take. Hop on the hate train. Have fucking at me. Have fun. The assholes are already aiming to kill me.
My apologies for my intemperate use of the word "fuck".
It’s during these horrible moments in trans history that I often withdraw into music. I also adapt the lyrics to reflect my inner emotions. At this moment, the Kanye West song, Jesus Walks, comes to mind. “We’re at war,” I hear Kanye singing as the bass makes the headphones feel as they’re moving against my head. “We’re at war with Gender-Critical Feminism,” he continues. “Christian Nationalism” is second on his list. It’s the third one that’s so potent. “But most of all, we’re at war with ourselves.”
That’s the one, sister. We’re at fucking war with ourselves in the middle of a war with Gender-Critical Feminists and Christian Nationalists.
I have empathy for the pain and hurt you’re feeling and expressing, but it’s hideously misdirected.
You can’t bring yourself to say it, so I’ll use “I language” and say it. I was assigned male at birth. I’m not confused about what that means, but you and many others seem to be. The term means I am biologically male with a female gender identity. Once again for those in the back of the room: My sex/gender is male, and my gender identity is female. It’s apples and oranges that for better or worse have gotten conflated, folks.
You’re not to blame for the confusion. The architects who built the foundation of our trans existence are at fault. I’ll even go so far as to take a swing at Self-ID despite having benefitted from it.
It’s downright legally confusing when a young trans girl or woman walks into the DMV and selects M, F, or X. On one hand, in many jurisdictions (states) the force of law recognize them as, for example, female when in reality they were assigned male at birth. But then fast forward to when they get involved in the criminal justice system and another arm of the law tosses that person into the traumatic experience of a male jail cell.
The legal of writings of trans woman Julian Weiss live on in my head from before I went to court in Portland. “No court has ever decided how gender identity would apply in all situations,” Weiss wrote, or something to the effect of. Courts still haven’t. But it’s coming.
How many of you are ready for it?
Another dressing down I’m going to give you, as we called it, in the military, is we need better leadership and less stupidity in the trans population. I’m not going to call us a community, because we’re everything but that. We always have been.
It’s not at the top of the list, but one of the motivations for my detransition was all of that stupidity. The subject of trans athletes ranks high in that arena. “It will be detransitioners, parents, and athletes who will break this open,” Kara Dansky said to me in what she thought was a confidential email. It’s a prophecy coming to pass.
Many trans members, those steeped in realism, were willing and tried to lead us into a better, more secure future. But they were scorned and spit on when they told people hard truths. “Build as many gender-neutral bathrooms as you can get away with,” I urged. “You’re othering me,” the stupid people replied. Stuff like, I can’t be subjected to decades of testosterone, serve in the military and develop a body rippled with muscles, then compete against cisgender athletes after a small amount of time on female hormones.
So yeah, we’re at war, Sister. And a lot of the stupid shit that’s causing us to lose we brought on ourselves.

That you can't call a terf a terf, and use their arguments and framing here is telling.
It is not your right (or anyone's) to talk down to me, so shitcan that "dressing down" shit.
Go, as I said, and and look at what Julia Serano to say. Then get back.
